There are a number of options you may consider when searching for an attorney to help you put your estate in order. You may turn to a friend, family member and even a trusted advisor for referrals to help you find the right lawyer. Aside from checking references, experience and fees, be sure to also check for certification. Certification means that the attorney to whom you are entrusting your estate planning has a significant amount of practical experience and has mastered and passed tests showing proficiency in probate, trusts and estate planning law.

What Does it Mean to Retain a State Bar Certified Attorney?
Here are the California State Bar rules regarding certification:
As a State Bar certified attorney, I am a Certified Specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law. Less than 1/2 of 1% of all California attorneys have achieved and been awarded this designation by the California State Bar.
I look forward to putting my experience, integrity and drive to achieve results to work for you.
